Be Careful out there.

Hmm QuickTime seems to be a problem for apple as of late, they need to do some improvements to the windows port of the program.

I will say, having used Safari, QuickTime and iTunes on Windows And on Mac OS X that they are completely different programs on the Mac than they are on Windows, the Windows port is lacking :-\

Hey Mac, I know what you mean, Problems with QuickTime is one of the reasons I switched to the VLC player, although VLC has had their share of security problems as well.

Im pretty sure all media programs (well all software in general) has there own security problems

For streaming online quicktime is great tbh, although i prefere VLC for my offline media player.

If you think QT is good on Windows, try it on a Mac sometime. It seems Apple puts much more work into the Mac version.

It seems Apple puts much more work into the Mac version.
Mac, Is that why we constantly have security risks in the Windows version ???

No, most of the security risks that effect the windows version also effect the mac version. By Apple putting more work into the mac version I mean optimizing the code to make video/audio encoding faster. But you wont notice that unless you have QuickTime Pro as the free version does not have the editing features of the Pro version.
