Resident protection always disabled

Don’t know why but my protection keeps reverting to Disabled.
Has this happened to anyone? How can I maintain protection?

  • Which OS are you using? Is it up to date?
  • What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number?
  • Did you run a full avast scanning? Are you clean? Do you have any other security tools to run and check?
  • Do you use a firewall? Which one?
  • Do you have any other antivirus installed in your system?
  • Any other security programs that could interfere?
