Actually, the “Outlook” is not for Outlook Express, but Microsoft Outlook. (unless the Avast team got that one by me).
The Resident Protection will show “Waiting for sub- system to start” until to have MS Outlook/Exhange installed and running.
Everthing is fine so enjoy Avast!
