Resident Scanner problem

Hello,
When I try to customize the scanner, it will only stay at custom if I choose to scan all files. Also, when I go to the “Block” tab and check “format”,“delete”, and “rename”, I can still format, delete, and rename files. Am I doing something wrong?

Problem with not blocking standard shield looks like a bug in avast! - we will repair it and release update of it ASAP
