I installed avast two days ago and I still haven’t seen any update popup
Current virus database version is : 150810-2
Latest update received : —
Is this OK ?
the update popup is gone, you now recive stream updates evry 5-15 minutes … the VPS is a backup or fix of previous released stream updates
if something is wrong, avast will tell you

I really like seeing update notification pop up but now it’s gone 
Today I checked my Avast and the update is working

You aren’t alone in liking the unique audible and visual auto update feature.
Threads generally remain open and after a while will drop down the chronological order and be unseen. You can however, modify your first post and add [Resolved] to the end of the topics Subject, as I have done with my post.
