Please Note that I know this is not the way to report a false positive, but I cannot submit the file to the virus lab as I do not have enough information on it.
Avast detects DDS.scr as a virus as Win32:Malware-gen . But DDS was recommended by an admin of malwarebyte’s forum and after doing some research I saw that it is a very useful tool in detecting pc infections / faults and its used to generate a log about the system. Unfortunately I couldnt get more information about it to submit it to the virus lab.
They have fixed it!!! Wow they corrected it very quickly!! Amazing ( I Know that there may have been other reports of this false positive detection but still!! )
yes I know, I edited the post and removed that part accidently, didnt bother putting it back since the issue was resolved… I typed that I forgot about the forum search tool and that i just wanted to report a false positive - I didnt think that others would have had a similar issue ;D my bad! sorry ;D
