HI I was just wondering if I could ask a question. I was just wanting to now will Avast free 7.0 be able to work on Windows Vista systems. Microsoft said in a post that I read that Microsoft has extended availableilty of windows update until 2014.

Whilst there is nothing written about system requirements for avast 7; I would say it is a cast iron certainty that it will be compatible with Vista as it will still be a Microsoft supported OS, as much as many people feel (MS included) that it wither and die, quickly. I suspect that XP is also likely to be supported as it too is on extended support until 2014.
Avast have had a good history (excuse the pun) of supporting older OSes after others have dropped support for them.
Most probably. But I won’t be surprised if some features are reserved for Windows 8 and greater.
