Hi, recently one of my files was jailed to Virus Chest, but when I try to recover it - nothing happens. ‘Recover and add to exclusions’, ‘Extract…’ and ‘Submit to virus lab…’ also do nothing. Is there other way to decrypt a vault?
When you restore a file a copy will remain in the chest, if you look at the file location it should be returned.
I understand this, but file have never recovered in any location. Tried to reinstall Avast and now Virus Chest showed empty through vault.db still persist on disk.
There was a bug in VC, which has been fixed in the latest beta.
