Another newbie just starting to use Avast. So far I’m impressed, but like any other person, it’s a new toy that takes some getting used to. One question I have is the pausing and stoping of provider options. In my haste I stopped some of the providers that were in the drop down list. Maybe I shouldn’t have? I might want to activate and try them again. I see no option for restoring them or no option for going back to program default settings. For example I stopped the Web Shield. How can I get it back?
click on avast icon in taskbar , select the process stopped and click start , if it isn’t the screen with the processes click “details”
Sorry, but the processes I stopped are not listed there anymore. I’m trying to get them back. There is no stopped list where I can activate them again.
normal click , not right mouse button , an interface opens with icons (if it is a simpler interface click “detail”), you can terminate start and customize the processes
