I am getting a red popup,in place of the polite blue one that says I am current. It wants me to resubscribe.None of the buttons work and it will not close down…I must reboot!! I am using the free home service and am happy to resubscribe. I think someone should be told about this window and,perhaps,fix it. Many thanks,John
This window pops up (I’ve just had it appear on my system) when there is three weeks to go. I just clicked the box and then closed it, I didn’t try to go anywhere.
Complete the avast! 4 Home Registration form and you will receive an email from register @ avast.com (without the spaces) with your registration key.

I just received an email that offers a registration key although they cannot find my initial registration. It came up a blank page. Avast was installed by a techie who reccomended it during a software overhaul of our computers. I would like to register my own name and address. Please advise me.

If you received the key in the e-mail, just follow the instructions in the video DavidR provided a link to. I don’t think you need to worry about losing the initial key.

Use the link I gave and enter your own details and email address, choose the third option existing user expired registration need a new one, etc. and you will get a ‘new’ registration key in an email.
