Is this way possible when paid license won’t be expire soon , as far I’am concerned , it’s not possible if I just want to permute AIS<->Free between 2 devices
I didn’t see this option when I wanted to uninstall my paid version normally (and then re-install it).
Here again I just tried it by going quite far in the uninstallation (cancelled before the end of the timer, see my screenshot), and I’m sure that the possibility to switch to a free version is not proposed afterwards like it is in your youtube link : “switch back to avast free antivirus”
Of course I watch , and of course I understand why it worked for jimb11…because he said first #1: “My AIS expired”
That’s not quite what I was asking for.
So I ask you : did you watch the video ???
and more particularly the context of the possibility of switch back:
“Your avast premier license will soon expire”
my #8 post was enough clear on this point My AIS not expired and is not time to be.
I feel more and more that my presence and my questions are seriously disturbing you :-[
Not annoying at all but realize, I was addressing jimb11’s question. Not yours.
Since I created the video, I guess I also watched it. The video also clearly states that
turning back to the free version is an option after the paid version or trial version has expired.
#9, you were quoting me back, weren’t you?
You were no longer responding to jimb11?
You may have read what I wrote to differentiate my case from jimb11 as well (in bold):
Is this way possible when paid license won't be expire soon?
I hope it was just a misunderstanding about the person you were answering. :)
Since I created the video, I guess I also watched it.
I'm not so stupid not to realize that you're the one who posted the video, it was humor on my part ;)
The video also clearly states that
turning back to the free version is an option after the paid version or trial version has expired.
I also understood this point, but from the beginning my question was to know if there was a similar way (a similar video) to downgrade from paying to free along the way (example: after 6 months)
This can be useful to keep some parameters common to both versions (free and paid) and not to lose them by making a new clean installation of the free version
Let’s hope Avast is watching. Maybe they can answer that question.
If it doesn’t exist, maybe they can make some changes to make it happen.
Certainly sound like an excellent suggestion to me.
