Just curious to know why there is no mention of any revision notes for Avast 4.7.827.
Some users may find this confusing since the Home Page of avast lists the latest available version as 4.7.827 yet the revision release page indicates there is only a 4.7.826 release.
The build 4.7.827 fixed a bug in the update process itself (the one causing some people to have lost all access rights for avast! folder).
So, there were no changes in the program.
Fair enough, I know the background, but we can’t assume that everyone does, can we? Why not bring back the consistency.
The current release is 4.7.827 and should not IMHO be omitted from the release-list page. Better then to remove 4.7.826 and rename it to 4.7.827 since there were no changes to the program.
Yes, I realize that confusion will occur nevertheless.
However, Igor and the rest of the Avast team seem to think that a change is not necessary.
I thought I would simply bring it to their attention on the off chance they were unaware.
Although I personally do not agree with this, I just said okay to his reply.
