Right-click scan runs silently with no progress popup

I’ve noticed that when I perform a right-click scan on a file or folder, no window or notification appears anymore.

Previously, Avast would show a scan progress popup in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Now, the scan seems to run completely in the background, and the only way to confirm it ran or check the result is by going to:
Main interface → Scan → Scan History.

There is no indication that the scan has started or is in progress unless a threat is found.

is there a setting to re-enable the scan progress popup/notification for right-click scans or it’s a glitch?

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
I have just run a very small folder right click scan to test and whilst I don’t get an open window, when the scan completed you get a small notification window bottom right of your screen.
Are you getting that ?
