Just installed Avast! home 4.8 on a new computer with vista 64-bit and every time I scan a file via the right click menu, a window pops up and closes inmediatelly. Anyone knows a solution for this? thanks and sorry if this has already been covered.

This is the avast quick scan and by its nature it is quick, it doesn’t display results, but if it finds an infection, all hell will break loose with an audible and visual alert.
You can however enable it to show results.
Program Settings, Common, Show Explorer Extension Results.
