RogueRemover or MBAM for "Rogues" !?

For WHICH to recommend it would be wise to read the Advice of Martin
Kleczynski, Malwarebytes Lead Developer and “Tarun” on a Thread that was
started Aug 1 at www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=5616 .

My Impression is that BOTH should be recommended because One MAY NOT
detect what the Other One does !?

Well IMHO they are two different applications, RogueRemover specialising in removing rogue programs and MBAM more of a general anti-malware, not specifically rogue applications.

There will obviously be some crossover in the removal of rogue elements coming from the same company.

I can however see why malwarebytes would stop program development on RogueRemover, but I feel that they should incorporate the RogueRemover functionality into MBAM so there would be no need to use both.

From what I understand RogueRemover focuses on older malware while MBAM focuses on the latest malware.

Maybe RogueRemover has special cleaning routines.
But, like you, I would like to see the applications merged.
