Roll back to 2015

Hello,

I need a download link to Avast AV 2015 basic/free edition.

This morning I was prompted to update to Avast Free edition to 2016. I updated FROM 15, but now when I try to log into work via VPN, Avast isn’t recognized as being installed on my Windows 10 PC. I’ve rebooted several thinking it might help but it hasn’t.

This is a situation where my VPN (Juniper Pulse Secure), verifies my PC is up to date and has Anti-Virus before it lets me on the network. I went through this last year when I updated to 2015, and had to revert back to 2014, until Juniper updated its software. Basically this boils down to Juniper’s API calls are no longer valid with Avast 2016, and its going to take them a few weeks to get it sorted out. This is a temporary situation, but after the update goes out for VPN, then I can update to 2016.

I can kick myself for updating, because I forgot what I went though last year (called Avast support, and they understood the problem, and provided the link). So, appreciate anyone who can point me to Avast 2015. This will solve my problem.

Best Regards,

David

Which one is Avast 2015 ? Is it Avast 9 or 10 ?
I have full installers for the latest versions of Avast (Free) 7, 8 , 9, 10 and 11 in my Downloads folder.

You should be able to find what you need from here:

A big thanks to both of you (abruptum and bob3160) – Where’s the kudos button?? lol

Yeah, downloaded and installed 10.2.2215, and I can now log into work! Well, I had hoped not to be able to log in for at least a week LOL, but hey, this is good. I have maintenance tonight at 10pm, so I had to find a way to get logged into the network or drive in.

This works! Thanks again guys!

David

Glad your problem is solved.
Now you just need to get your VPN to do their update so you can use the latest version of Avast.
