Root Kit Warning Re: SVC:MvWeb server rootkit

After a bad experience with a False Positive that resulted in wiping out my Printer/Scanner Driver I am not sure whether to trust Avast now that it gives a Root Kit Warning Re: SVC:MvWeb server rootkit. There is no quarantine option. Only remove. How do I reverse this if it is a false positive?

Are falde positives more commont on the free addition? How do I trust Avast after recovering from a false positive? Can I check someplace for a list of known false positives?

How do I reverse this if it is a false positive?
Just reinstall the application or restore the file from the virus chest.
Are falde positives more commont on the free addition?
No, the paid versions and the free version are using the same database.
Can I check someplace for a list of known false positives?
Such a list does not excist. A false positive needs to be reported so that avast can fix it.
