root / unroot issue

Hi!

I don’t know whether there is an easy solution for my issue. I have a HTC One X that I rooted, installed Avast and the anti-theft software in root mode. Then I had to unroot the phone as I could not install HTC updates that way. If I root it again I’ll have to delete everything as far as I understand.

The problem is that now I can’t update anti-theft now. Is there a way to remove it while not rooted. If I root it again I’ll have to delete everything as far as I understand and that’s what I’d like to avoid.

if you installed rooted, you’ll only be able to remove it rooted.
