Rootkit Detected and Computer Unable to Start

Note: Iam writing this topic ON MY other computer.

So on my other computer which has been infected by a rootkit: Win32;enistry (Avast Detected)
It told me to delete(recommended) it deleted it but it also rebooted after. As pc startsup a message like BIOS shows up “Avast Rootkit Scanner” something like that.
It did detected the rootkit and asked me to delete all or move to chest i picked delete all.

After it was all deleted it scanned my whole computer files but i found it very very long to scan and was predicting to take long hours or days so i cancelled it by manually turn off my computer while scanning as there was no other options other than that or wait.

After i turned it off while scanning Microsoft program showed up at startup not able to reach to desktop yet saying “Windows is unable to start, startup repair is checking for system problems” It says there if any problems are found it will fix it automatically.

Well it did found problems but didnt say anything about it just says “Attempting repairs” and been going like that long enough now what should i do please help!

Hi, I’m getting notification from Avast that I have Rootkit detected and to delete and perform a full scan which I have done twice now with a clean result both times…
But it just keeps going around and around in circles so now I’m ignoring it. Is this similar to the last avast update back in November when the update was faulty and needed a fix to be updated before this error would stop showing up.
I’ve noticed no one’s yet replied to this thread so I will start another one just in case.

Thanks

@rayzinz can you remember the name of the file that was detected ?

What is the operating system i.e. XP Vista or 7 … 32 or 64bit
