Run OTL and hit the cleanup button. It will remove all the programmes we have used plus itself.

We will now confirm that your hidden files are set to that, as some of the tools I use will change that

I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)

Download and install FileHippo update checker and run it monthly it will show you which programmes on your system need updating and give a download link

If you use on-line banking then as an added layer of protection install Trusteer Rapport

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated. To keep your operating system up to date visit
[*]Microsoft Windows Update

To learn more about how to protect yourself while on the internet read our little guide How did I get infected in the first place ?Keep safe

ok i will do all that on the laptop and my pc.thanks for all the help.1 more thing java i never use and don’t even know what is does,so i guess i will uninstall it.

Good idea on Java as there is a new exploit going around

i finally did what u said with the downloads and filehippo hade 6 updates and 2 beta updates detected.1 of the updates is java i’m going to try to unistall it.the others r adobe which gave me the uniblue when i was staying in a hotel.some of the others r windows live mail, live messenger and live writer also winzip.the 2 beta ones r adobe air and google chrome which is my browser

Unless you use Adobe as a writer then it would be worth replacing that
