I get sudden from Avast this above statement and also “Your router has been compromized and your network connections are being routed trough a malicious remote server.”
That is shocking !!! Furthermore, there are provided a number of recommendations to re-configure the router differently.
I have 2questions.

  1. Can it be because I get through a use VPN ? I mention that if there is indeed some serious charge?
  2. If with a new router configuration provided by Avast, can I come to my network even from another networklike PC, Cameras, etc, it seems to me that what Avast as new configuration recommends access to my network is completely blocked or is that wrong ?

Yes, not every vpn service can be trusted.
Your router has been compromized
I would do a hard reset on the router and check the home network after doing so to see if the message still shows.

The VPN i use is Zenmate this is a chrome browser extension. I tought this is reliable… Not ?
