Hi jingle75, welcome to the forum.
What is the text within the rundll error message? If iit refers to the advanced system care program, simply reinstall it. Same version as you had, if you can.

hi there Tarq57 i did systems disc scan error check last night which trys to fix as well as replace missing files on the disk from any backed up files on the disc and i think that as done the job as i dont get the rundll error message any more when i log on to windows i have reinstalled systemcare3 more than three time since i have done the scan last night and it still dose not work i get a error message from the advanced systemcare3 which says

Error signature
AppName: awc.exe AppVer: 3.3.16552 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.5781 Offset 00012afb

the more technical info about that error report which i dont understand i am unable to copy or cut and past it so you can have a look at it so if you know of a way of getting at that info can you let me know as it is a lot to type out thank you for you help

Yeah, sorry, I’m nowhere near techy enough to translate that error message from the original nerdish.
Unless someone else is forthcoming with a better idea, I’d be inclined to remove it using Revo Uninstaller (removing the registry entries should be done carefully by expanding every registry tree right down to the leaves and only checking the bold items- you’ll see what is meant when you run it. Also don’t restart after the program uninstaller has run; go to the next step within the Revo program.), download a new copy of the AWC program, and install afresh.

Thanks Tarq57 i have down loaded that program and i will give it a try in in the morning so i will let you know how it gose and if that dose not work i will just have to reinstall windows xp and all of the operating systems progams after the week end at least i know that will fix it but it will take me a good part of two days to do

thanks for your help

Only re-install the OS as a last resort, would be my opinion.
It’s a bit of a mission, unless you have a good backup or snapshot program. (Acronis, Norton Go Back, Maxium Reflect being examples of this.)
AWC is a good enough program, but not worth a OS re-install, in my opinion.
