Running a boot scan at start up.

Hi

I meant to ask this question earlier

If i am running a boot scan at start up does it pay to be not connected to the Internet. As a scan takes about 3 quarters of an hour when i run one.

If this has been asked before i apologize.

A boot scan runs well before there are any network services running on your system - so even though your network (modem/router) may be up the system is not communicating with the network during the boot scan.
