Please help! My daughter has Uni exams in two days and her computer has “died”! She said she went to a website when her computer “hung”. She was not able to do Cntl,Alt,Del as nothing happened. So she just turned her computer off. Now nothing will work at all. I have tried Bios and tested the Memory which was fine. The disk scan would not work. I have tried F8 Safe mode every option! When it runs it gets to aswRvrt.sys and just hangs there. Makes me think maybe Avast? Only cos I have seen others post the same issue. I know very little about the computer so any/all help and assistance will be thankfully accepted! It ends up with the BSOF each time. Kind Regards Debbie

Ok, I’m not that clever, but I scrolled down to the section that says “when computer will not boot” (which is the situation) so how can I download the Otlipen file to the desktop and run the file when I can’t do anything on the computer? (I am sending these messages via another computer). I have downloaded the Otlipen file on my current computer so I could put it on a flashdrive or a CD? :-\
Create the CD on another computer then use that CD to boot the sick one
