Safe Zone and Adobe Flash

What is the deal with Adobe Flash in safe zone? I could never update flash but I used to be able to “run this time”. The new safezone does not even do that, it will not run at all. Adobe flash is a requirement for much of my banking and bill paying. It is time to renew avast, but if I can’t bank or pay bills with it, what is the point?

There is no (new) safe zone.
safezone is obsolete and has been replaced by the safe browser.

Bank sites that are using flash should be avoided.
Flash had, still have and likely always will have huge security flaws.

I assume that the thing that avast just updated on my machine is the browser to which you refer. However, they do call it safezone. It is called Safezone Browser, but I thought that was always the name, and this one just looks like an new version. Are you saying that what I am seeing, what just downloaded is not the latest and/or it is obsolete? When I click on about safezone browser it does not give any version numbers. My avast program version is 11.1.2241. Is there a safe browser program version listed or updated elsewhere?

I don’t know that I will change banks, but I certainly can’t change my utility company and other bills that require flash. It is disappointing that I am reverting to checks, stamps, and the postal service, now that avast cannot utilize flash at all. Are you saying that for the last several years avast safezone left me vulnerable when it allowed flash use? Was I dupped believing that I was secure all this time in safezone? And I don’t understand the below straight out of this avast site, that says I can access videos and such when as soon as I attempt to view anything video related in safezone browser it will not allow because flash is “not updated”. What am I missing here.
