SAFE ZONE Not Working

I just renewed my license for AIS 2014 and now when I try to put my url links into the Safe Zone address bar, it shows the following wording.

program.avast.com/api/?action=2&p_elm=15

Also, instead of the normal white back ground screen, it is light blue. I have used the repair option with no success.

Everything else with AIS 2014 is working properly, except SAFE ZONE.

I have posted a support ticket, but who knows when I will get help as others are ahead of me, so I am hoping some one here will help me, Please. I need to get into the Safe Zone as soon as possible, please.

Any suggestions or help, please?

I just totally uninstalled AIS 2014 and reinstalled it. Safe Zone is still NOT working.

:frowning:

Someone may be able to assist you trouble shoot your problem BUT, they will need further information:
What OS?
What other Security software installed? (there could be conflicts)
Browser add-ons etc.

Sorry, I have Windows 7 with SP1, Malware Bytes Pro. Browser add-ons Avast Browser Security and Web Reputation Plug In, HTTPS -Everywhere

My other computer has the very same set up, with No Issues at all with the Safe Zone.

I have NO Bugs installed on either computers.

Well not sure as SafeZone can be finicky.
I would try disabling/uninstalling Browser Protection and see if any difference.
Then I would uninstall MBam and see if there’s any change.
Both those have the potential to cause conflict.
Just throwing out some ideas.

Thank YOU So Very Much for all the Great help. I finally got it to work. I completely removed every thing on AIS on my computer, using the REVO Uninstaller and also the tool to remove Avast from your computer. When I got done there was Nothing left of Avast installed on my computer. I used CCleaner to remove anything left over and then I reinstalled AIS 2014. After everything of Avast got reinstalled, I checked out the Safe Zone (crossing my fingers) it would work this time around. Presto, works perfectly. I also followed this link from you on this forum on the following, which described my problem. https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=146135.15 Followed the instructions, but did not have to mess around with my Malwarebytes Pro at all, but I did update the new version on it, so I am current with that also.

Now I am very happy again that my Safe Zone is properly working. I did NOT want to get rid of Avast, as it has saved my bacon many times over the years and there is NO other software on the market in today’s world that can even come close to AVAST, as far as I am concern.

A BIG THANKS TO YOU.

Have a great day!

Dang, I have been looking for my pc Gremlin.
Please tell him to get home ;D

You’re welcome.
