Safezone causing BSOD

Hi,

I started using safezone for my transactions after getting the Avast Pro version 7 update, everything worked fine until about 3 days ago. Now when I turn on Safezone all I get is a BSOD!

The BSOD stays on for about 3 seconds then my PC reboots. I have Win 7 Home premium, Avast 7 Pro Suite, Ad Aware 10 Pro on trial and Advanced System Care Pro.

Anyone out there that can help me?

Running multiple real-time security solutions will cause nothing but problems. I would start by uninstalling Ad Aware 10 Pro and Advanced System Care Pro.

If this doesn’t solve the BSOD problem then upload the minidump files (C:\Windows\Minidump\Minidump.dmp.) to → ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming
Create a text file referencing this thread to send along with the .dmp file.

Turned off ad-aware and disable auto clean on Advanced System care and voila! safezone now works!

I tried locating the folder but my desktop search couldn’t find it.

just to be sure, did u add ur drive name in front of \Windows\Minidump in ur search? (eg. C:\Windows\Minidump)

note: ur drive may have different name like D:

alternatively, u can just try searching for Minidump

I found the folder but it’s empty.

hmm seems like the only thing now pk can do is to try to emulate ur system config.

anyways i noticed that u have iobit advance system care. u might want to check if this programme automatically cleans ur windows dump files.

if so, please disable that function. this is because dump files are important for system problem diagnosis like this.
