Win 7 64 bits with Sandboxie 3.56 Zone Alarm free 9.2 and the culprit, Avast Pro 6.0.1203. When I use the Safezonebrowser feature to do my online banking and shopping everything is fine but their sandbox seem to interfere with the sandboxie program. I have this error message 1215:http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?SBIE1215 even though I did not call Sandboxie in action. Any idea? Are you working on a solution?

I still get this error message 1215 after I installed Sandboxie version 3.57.02 beta. It happens whenever you close safe zone. Vitualizzation proccess interference with sandboxie could be.

Could you please clarify.
The title of this thread says “SAFEZONE CONFLICTS A LITTLE WITH SANDBOXIE 3.56”. Then you say that Safezone Browser works fine. Then you say that “their” sandbox (do you mean Avast Sandbox)seems to interferes with Sandboxie.
Avast Sandbox and Avast Safezone are not the same feature. They are entirely independent of one another.
So which is it? Avast Safezone conflicts with Sandboxies or Avast Sandbox conflicts with Sandboxie?
Have you used Avast Sandbox instead of SBIE 3.56…? Have there been any issues in that set-up?
Anyone?
Ok. It’s Avast sandbox that I open. Precisely, the safezonebrowser. Only problem (minor, I’d say but indicative there is an issue)is that when I exit safezone there is a sandboxie pop-up error message that tells me I have error 1215 many times repeated. Of course, I haven’t used Sandboxie sandbox at all. But Sandboxie sandbox is installed on this pc.
I think avast did clash with sandboxie. On my newly formated Win 7 machine which have no security program install except sandboxie, when I install avast 6.0.1203, I get a BSOD straight away. If I use the previous version and install, there is no BSOD even after upgrading to 6.0.1203.
Hmmmm…still no reply from tzuk about this one I see… let’s wait and see.
I had another AV before upgrading to build 1203. That was with SBIE 3.56 already installed. No BSOD either when I upgraded to build 1203(not clean install). Seems build 1203 and SBIE3.56 includng the beta versions of SBIE have conflict.
Sandboxie pop-ups is the only problem with Avast 6 and that is only with the SafeZone feature. So basically there should be no problems but I wonder its effect on the Avast Sandbox, I mean how will it behave with a malware sandboxed with sandboxie on the same pc. This applies to AVAST PRO as in the free version there is no sandbox. ???
On an another hand, I’m a bit concerned about this thread http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=82291.0. Ailwil strong marketing claims SafeZone is “safer” than anything else! Is it still true?
???

Avast Sandbox has nothing to do with SafeZone Browser except that they are part of the Avast software
I repeat, then, it’s the SafeZone Browser feature :-\
Just as a FYI (this wont help you resolve your issue), but no problems with AIS+SBIE 3.56 on XP SP3.
If I had to guess, it’s probably related to 64bit (have you enabled experimental 64bit protection in SBIE?)
