Safezone is going slow

Hi, I’m trying to us the safezone but it is extremely slow to load. Anyone help? Am using internet security version 6.0.1289

I’ve noticed this has been a problem on and off today. Perhaps there is an issue with the safezone secure server.

No problem with SafeZone on my XP Pro system right now. :slight_smile:

I had problems this morning when i used safezone, it took 5 minutes to load one page.

Yes, I’ve had the same problem for a few days now. Not only is the Safezone slow to load, but each web page I visit in Safezone is also very slow. Has anyone reported this? I’m on Windows 7 64bit with security version 6.0.1289

Nothing from the avast team, or higher members?, I even reset the safezone settings.

avast! SafeZone is using Mailshell’s secured DNS service, we contacted their support and they confirmed there was a problem with the process that resolves the incoming DNS requests on one of the servers.

Yes, it’s back to normal speed pk.

(but in my case (w7 64bit system only) it’s still magically creating bookmarks that no longer exist in my other browsers, however much I reset it).

I observed the same phenomenon for the last couple of days. Webpages took 2-5 minutes to load within safezone. this happened on a machine with vista as well as one running XP.
Also, this problem seemed to be sometimes resolved spontaniously;
in other posts it was suggested that it might be settings of firewall, so i gave all permissions to safezonewebbrowser: THE ISSue remained, however - be it on and off.
This morning 25th of sept 2011 it’s working fine on my vista.

Yes, mine seems to be finally working again. Hopefully for good, as I use Safezone a lot.

My Safezone is going slow again. Anyone else having this issue? I wish that they would sort it out once and for all !!
