Hi guys
I have been using Safezone for a few days now without issue (apart from not being able to print).
I decided to test the “Reset Safezone” option. I did the following:
- I clicked “Reset Safezone”.
- I started Safezone via the right click of the Avast Icon.
- BSOD.
- PC rebooted.
- Started Safezone. It started ok and I could see the correct grey background and the browser icon. The mouse was active.
- I clicked the browser icon and nothing happened.
- I exited Safezone and an application error message was displayed (see attachment).
I have rebooted a few times but Safezone still does not work!
Any ideas?
I am running XP, latest version of AIS etc.
Regards
Greg
You could try a repair of avast:
- Control Panel → Programs & Features → avast!
- Click on ‘Repair’.
- Follow instructions.
- Reboot.

please send me (kurtin at avast.com) your latest minidump file (=bsod report) from \Windows\minidump folder, thanks.
Hi Kurtin
I have emailed the Minidump file and will not uninstall or reinstall anything just in case you want some more information for troubleshooting.
