SafeZone problemz HALP!

So I’ve been having a lot of trouble with safezone lately. I love the damn thing, i use it for banking and paying for various things… however I’ve been unable to use it for about 2 weeks now.

First it was soundcloud :cry: with (Sorry! Something went wrong Is your network connection unstable or browser outdated?)

The next time i tried to log into my bank… it would refresh after putting in my info and pressing log in. almost as if i put in the wrong info but a message would appear at the top if i had done that…

I’m also seeing the same error with needing to update Chrome along with other people on this forum.

I’ve tried this twice

  1. Click on Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program (Programs and Features, Add or Remove Programs) > Avast > Click on “Uninstall/Change” > Repair
  2. After the repair, please make sure that you have the most recent version of Avast - 2016.11.2.2262.
    To do that, please open Avast and go to > SETTINGS > Update > Program > Update and update your Virus definitions as well.
  3. Restart your computer.

currently running 1.48.2066.101 - Avast SafeZone is up to date

everything has been updated, I’ve seem to have hit a brick wall and nothing has changed… HALP!

Soundcloud works fine on my PC with 1.48.2066.114. I recommend you to update Avast to get the latest version:

nothing has changed other than not being able to use pay mode anymore :_ [

I’m still getting the same log in error on every site i try to log on to with SZB. Page would refresh after putting in my info and pressing log in. almost as if i put in the wrong info there is no message saying incorrect password.

could it possibly be my settings? I have Protected Content turned on, pop-ups off, java script on.

If you have not changed any settings on your own, it should be fine… The settings you described are default…

I tried to log in into several websites in both normal mode and bank mode - no problem.

Please could you write here step by step what you are doing in the browser and in which mode…

What OS you have? If you go to about page in default mode, please write here path to your profile folder (for example: C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\SZBrowser\profile.…)

Troubleshooting:

  • Try disabling all extensions using settings window (three dots button on the right side) and try to log in.
  • Try disabling avast protection using Avast tray icon menu → Avast shields control and then restart the browser and try to log in.
  • Other browser works correctly? Try Chrome or Opera

Attach screenshot when you reproduce the problem. Take note that you will not be able to make a screenshot in Bank mode… You can use your camera or mobile phone.

At the end please send me private message with just one file - C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\szb.log
