Since updating to Version 11.1.2245 Avast SafeZone browser has become very slow at starting up, and opening web pages. Sometimes it will just freeze and not open a page at all.
Any ideas on how to fix?

Not sure exactly, although whenever I run into a snag I’ll perform a “Repair” of the Avast Installation, and occasionally a “Clean Install” as files can get corrupted for numerous reasons
I use Avast Premier.
I also noticed you use MBam Pro which I also have installed with Avast HOWEVER I do not have it running real time and I make sure the MBam service and components are all unchecked to “NOT start” with OS.
I have found MBam Pro had issues at times with SafeZone and caused it to malfunction.
SafeZone Browser could also have issues with MBam Pro
Just speculation but I don’t have SafeZone Browser issues now. 
So far I have not noticed any problems with SafeZone Browser and MBAM Pro :-\

Yes the Safezone Browser I find is much more reliable.
I should have mentioned I was referring to past issue with MBam Pro v.2 running ‘real time’ and the old SafeZone module on xp OS.
