as some may be aware Rapport service that runs continuously whether you’re connected to online banking etc or not is a real resource hog especially of system memory
I contacted my bank and asked I they advised if it was safe to remove rapport from my PC (Windows 7 64bit) ; they agreed it was if I felt safezone was secure enough. After reading about it it looks like it should be. I removed trusteer from my PC (not so easy to do, but that’s another story)
I’ve gone into the safezone a few times since and after I open the page to login to my account it pops up a window telling me I should install trusteer - is this a safezone message? if so what is the point of safezone, or is trusteer rapport within safezone something different from the usual continuously running service
safezone looks like a great idea, but I would really like to be clear about this - hopefully an avast rep will be able to clarify?
