SafeZone : websites not "working" / messing with screen resolution...

I have noticed some of my banking sites don’t “work” on safezone. let me elaborate - e.g. for one of my credit card accounts - Santander, I can’t see the text on most of what I think are links or buttons on the main page, so I really can’t navigate. I had switched off trusteer in the hope I could use this safezone instead and save on cpu/mem resources when not banking, but that may not be possible if SafeZone is not effectively fit for purpose :frowning:

I did toy with the idea of using a VM / ubuntu combo to set up a safe browsing scenario, but I think that would only protect my machine, whereas in fact I really want to protect my banking access - anyone have any experience ideas of this?

also safezone messes up my screen when I return to “normal” windows - I have to close both firefox and thunderbird as the windows are drawn so that the menus are inaccessible

It would be nice to know if there are going to be fixes for these issues in the next update, otherwise I guess I will just have to go back to that dang resource hog trusteer !

all suggestions, ideas, advice welcome…

I use SafeZone several times a week … works fine for me.

How can SafeZone which uses Chrome as its basis , affect Firefox?

  1. Give details of your system, OS, avast version.

  2. Have you tired preventing " Trusteer " loading serrvices, and then testing SafeZone? ( Personally, I wouldn’t have that Trusteer crap on any PC of mine.)

Okay, my son’s machine is Win7 64Bit with AIS2014 latest version.

Ran SafeZone for :

Halifax Bank

Lloyds Bank

Nationwide

Santander.co.uk ( don’t have account there , but, entered online banking, ran their demo, visted all the links available.)

No problems at all.

Exit, run Firefox and his T’bird account , again, no issues of any kind , all works perectly.

thanks for that - I guess it’s something in my system setup - I will try to update the graphics card / check the resolution settings and see if that resolves it - wish me luck!
