SafeZone : Windows 7 issues

I am starting this thread because I have had a few issues with SafeZone in Windows 7 making it almost not fit for purpose

1 ) I can’t do a copy to clipboard and bring it back to normal windows even though I have checked “allow clipboard sharing …”

  1. I can’t do a screen capture and save as an image

  2. I can’t print from SafeZone, in fact if I go into printer properties, it hangs to the point where I have to restart windows

  3. sometimes switching between SafeZone and my normal desktop, the resolution is altered so that I can no longer access menus on some programs and I have to close and reopen them

  4. on some of my banking websites some pages are not readable due to colour issues - e.g. what should be black text on a white background, is black text on a black background

I find it hard to believe that my system is so special I’m the only one with any/all these issues - has anyone else had similar issues?

update :

(2) now seems to be resolved, so I can at least get a screen capture - yaaah :smiley:

which is fortunate as I could get a screen capture when a new issue arose - just now I got an exception breakpoint - I have attached screenshot of exception message

Hi. I don’t have solutions really, just comments on what i have found.

I can copy to clipboard by cut and paste to the clipboard after opening it (the symbol bottom left). I then save it to “Desktop”, giving it a name. After returning it is there. If like me you do a repetitive step in Safezone to save data, it remembers the last place you saved to (Desktop). After using it I delete it from the Desktop.

I have screen capture problems and my settings do not save after closing Safezone and going back. I haven’t tried printing and expect to have the same problems as you. I don’t have color issues with the browser in safezone EXCEPT that overall its very pale, there are no options to change anything.

Not sure it’s worth posting on anything in this forum, as none of the issues I have looked at ever seem to have more than a couple of responses, and those are just from folks sharing the pain…

However, since this is my first day on here (possibly also my last) I will chip in on this:

Haven’t tried issues 1 and 2, don’t have problems 3 and 5, but definitely do have the resolution problem.

But my biggest gripe is that I can’t get any url to switch to SafeZone automatically.

This is on a Win 7 machine using Firefox.
