SafeZone wont allow me onto my bank site

I was using SafeZone specifically for banking, but now it wont load the site I want. It gives me the error message:

“This site can’t be reached - www.encrypt.XXXXbank.co.za unexpectedly closed the connection.”

This happens in the normal browser and in bank mode. I tried Firefox to see if it worked there - no problem. So now at a loss what to do. I tried repairing the programme but to no avail.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Masking the name of the bank isn’t helpful as things can’t be checked without knowing what bank you are talking about.

It is the bank who is having problems.
It is not reachable with other browsers and without avast either.

This is something the bank has to solve.

Thanks, but I can access the bank on Firefox so I don’t think it’s the bank,. I can access www.standardbank.co.za but when you select the internet banking option it throws you off with the above error message. On other browsers it’s fine.

Well, when I checked it wasn’t.
Looks there is something going on at that site currently.

I can reproduce the problem. I am not able to switch the URL into the bank mode. To avoid this, just copy and paste the URL into the bank mode browser.

I reported this to our developers.

Small problem, easy to fix :slight_smile:

But nevertheless, avast had to do it or they would not have gotten their coffee ;D
