I entered my banking site and credit card site to have automatically open in safezone but they don’t?is there some setting im not seeing?

uninstalled/reinstalled avast premier.it now asks to switch to safezone in google chrome but I have to shutoff ie11 protected mode for it to work in ie11.i like using ie so by shutting off ie protected mode am I less safe?
SafeZone hasn’t been opening for me since upgrade to v2007.
Just hangs at ‘downloading proxy script’.
It is important to pay more attention.
