Hi There!

My name is Martin and I’ve an question. I’ve searched it a similar topic exist, but couldn’t find it.
I am a happy user of Avast! IS, most recent version. My question is how do I disable Safezone completely? It’s meddling with the site of my bank, in which I conduct my banking affairs online.
It’s perfectly protected as it is and I don’t need/want Avast to interfere. Yet, on the site of my bank, it says “Avast reccomands to activate safezone”; See image at: http://pbrd.co/HJ1DNu (shown in Orange). How do I remove/disable this? Disabling all the safe zone parameters has no effect. Clicking it away (“X”) makes no difference either.

Wait, via control panel I change the installation. Unfortunatly, I choose the wrong options (install only safezone). I need to reinstall avast IS without safezone. Hope it works.

Update: when I first reinstalled avast!IS and chose the wrong installation options (disabling all but Safezone) the processed continued with the message ‘stopping the firewall’. This took forever, So I forced a reset. Wrong choice. Not only my pc did not rebooted properly, the homepage of my bank (online banking) freezed, something with a plug-in of that bank. Plus, there’s a problem with de avast-firewall. I eventually did -via control panel - new installation and this time disabling the Safezone option. Further testing is required to see is everything working properly.

As of now, the homepage of my bank is working properly at least.

I may do complete de-installation and re-install avast IS.

Everything is - for now - working properly, even the homepage of my bank. The annoying safezone has gone.
Had a small problem with internet connection, but that too is solved.
