Same common URL:Mal spamming problem

I’ve got a computer I’m trying to fix for a friend and I’ve got it all cleaned up except for this stupid virus I cannot seem to completely get rid of. Everytime the computer gains an internet connection, it attempts to access 16-22 websites that are immediately blocked by Avast. While this is better than nothing, it’s still something that needs to be removed. I have tried everything I could find, and eventually found Avast’s forums which seem to show this issue arising fairly often. If anyone could help me fix this, that would be great. I have attached all logs I think I need. If you need more information, please let me know. Thanks for any help!

Which is the main browser affected ?

CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

Thank you for the help! No more pop ups so far.

I’ve attached the new logs.

Thanks again!

EDIT: It would actually happen without any browsers open. Just as soon as I opened the computer or connected to a network, the popups would begin.

Subject to no further problems
