Same problem for me: http://img.virus-analytics.com/js/adr.js?071b83

Hi
I don’t know what’s going on today with Avast, but when I use any of my browsers I get continuous warning about that malware…This is unbelievable: I scanned and cleaned with Avast, Spybot, Malwarebyte, Superantispyware and Adware-Removal Tool and the problem is still there :o

Anyway, you can find logs attached. Thanks in advance

Remnants of YAC still trying to get through

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe

Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

THEN

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.

[*]Close all open programs and internet browsers.
[*]Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
[*]Click on Scan.
[*]After the scan is complete click on “Clean”
[*]Confirm each time with Ok.
[*]Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
[*]Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
[*]You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

Damn, it seemed it was fixed initially, but after few seconds surfing it appeared again… logs attached…

Could you delete your current copy of FRST and download a fresh one, then run the fix again please

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Yep, actually it gave me a strange error when I started it for the first time…I thought it was not important, sorry…anyway, new logs attached

Could you now re-run the previous fix that I had posted

I did that thing with FRST and you can find the new log. I scanned with AdwCleaner but the only one programme it found is safe (100% sure, you can check the log) so I didn’t reboot…And the problem is still there…
The only unusual thing I noted (also previously) is that when AdwCleaner started the scan it closed Firefox and an error message about “plugin container has stopped working” appeared (but this also happened other times when for instance the browser was overload with videos)…

Could you download the attached fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST
Start FRST and press fix
Then post the resultant fixlog please

here

Damn, am I the only one to whom this procedure doesn’t work? :frowning:

So you are still getting the alerts ?

I solved it (I hope). I tried system restore twice, they were successful except for a register file in Avast folder…So I uninstalled Avast, I did all the scans/cleans again, then I re-installed Avast and now it’s ok. I don’t know, maybe that malware had corrupted some Avast files, is that possible? Anyway, thanks a lot for your help

Are there any further problems

Nope so far. I think it has been fixed

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean
