same svchost.exe problem here too

I got this yesterday on eBay from a Chinese seller with embedded description and pics. “Avast has blocked a harmful URL” htxp://anythicago.com/4242/BorderlineRunner_142667041209105.dll ia just one of several, the same ones as other posters recently. Always on startup and waking from sleep and when I scan with MWB there are at least 5 different ones, usually 2 of the same URL.DLL

I ran the programs. I’ve lost my Google Chrome browser and it won’t let me install a new one. I need my Chrome help me get it back
it gets an error trying to start Chrome, image attached. I can’t uninstall because it says it isn’t there

fixlist content: ***************** CreateRestorePoint:

System Restore will solve the problem.

or

Download Revo Uninstaller and uninstall Chrome.
http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Click Start, copy in search %LOCALAPPDATA% and remove folder Google

Download and install Chrome
https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/desktop/

I thought of that but won’t that put all the bad stuff back? which system restore should I use… the one created by the Fix tool?

FRST tool, and uninstall Chrome, remove folder Gogle.
Chrome is problem.

did the restore, removed the folders, it still won’t install a new chrome.

Try restore to 30-05-2015 21:10:47

can’t uninstall Google fully, might be the problem as before when trying to install. It’s been 3 hours and it still says “Please wait until current program is finished uninstalling or being changed” (when I try to uninstall another program)

If I restart, the problem goes away (able to uninstall another program) but the Google isn’t fully uninstalled and I can’t install a new version.

{UPDATE} Oops didn’t see the Revo uninstaller you suggested will try that next…

Got Chrome uninstalled, here’s what I did:
system restore to the first one you wanted me to use
I had to install Chrome over the current install
Uninstalled using the REVO, thorough cleaning
did the %LOCALAPPDATA%, deleted Google folder
reinstalled Chrome to x.64 version

Am I clean now?
