Sandbox and SafeZone Question

Hello, I have Avast IS on both my PCs, one has no problem running the browser in sandbox (Explorer, Firefox or Chrome) and now the new Safezone, while the other crashes whenever I try to use either.

The error message simply states that the browser stopped working once I close the window, and a similar one telling me the same for the SafeZone browser the times I tried it out.

Any ideas?

Seems it might be due to the differences in the computers. What are the differences?

Well, I can tell you that its not for lack of resources because the computer in question is better in every way than the one running the programs with no issues and both have Win7.

Now when I say the program crashes is because thats the error message that I get, its not like the page blinks and then disappears. Running in either sandbox or safezone, the browser opens and Stays open, BUT its only when I close the browser that the message pops up telling me that its either stopped working or it crashed.

Windows 7 as I have indicated above.

Any other plugins installed on the machine that has the problems that you describe? Was this a clean install, or did you upgrade this machine to Win 7?

32 or 64 bit ???

32bit, and no it was already windows 7(No plugin installed), in fact, both PCs used to be Windows XP that I upgraded to 7 back in June 2010 and never had any problems.
The machine runs perfectly with no issues aside from the one I described.

Greetings…I am glad to know that I am not alone on this!

The other day, I upgraded to Avast Internet Security(from Avast Free) and everything seemed to be working fine. There’s been a few “quirks” but nothing really major(well there was 1 major crash…but SafeZone worked fine afterwards).

Anyway, today, when I tried to open SafeZone, it opened but the SafeZone browser will not…nothing happens and so when I switch back to my desktop, I find this “SafeZone has stopped working” message and no explanation. Got any ideas?

Also…SafeZone browser will not install any of the browser themes!

I tried a repair and it said it was successful but still didn’t work.

Nope, it’s still doing the same thing as before, I gave up.
