How could I desactivate Sandbox? actually even if I put it in “ask” mode ,it does not comply and it virtualise Chrome, Firefox and their downloads etc… Hence I can not find the downloaded files…
Hnec eI do not want the sansbox feature if I cannot control it.
What is the solution ??

What avast version are you using Free/Pro/AIS ?
The reason I ask is that there is the AutoSandbox, available in all versions and the full Sandbox, which is only available in the Pro/AIS versions. They are completely separate in how they work, setting the AutoSandbox to Ask wouldn’t effect the full Sandbox if you have the Pro/AIS version.
You could configure the Sandbox to allow some operations to happen.
Are you saying that even with that settings you can’t use the Sandbox?
I think it is a case of setting the AutoSandbox to Ask and expecting the full Sandbox to follow that setting. There doesn’t appear to be any Ask setting in the full Sandbox, assuming of course the OP is using avast Pro/AIS.
If OP uses Pro/IS, this could be caused by this settings: Additional Protection → Browser Protection → Run this browser sandboxed

If the OP is using Free, he/she can disable it completely. But we need to hear back from the OP to find out what version and product of Avast they are using.

Evey time I see that used, I think of “unsub” which is used on one of the TV series.

Maybe you brought up the TV reference because we have a few “unsubs” posting to the forum.
