Avast Sandbox has siezed my scanner/printer. I can print from my PC. I can scan documennts, but the scan app showes up in avast sandbox for some reason. After completing the scan, it will not save the file to my PC. I was scanning documents a few days ago without issues. !!!

It is possible that you might have set the app to “Always run in Sandbox”
Please right-click on the app in question and select “Always run outside of Sandbox”
