Sandbox not remembering...

avast! Free Antivirus 7.0.1407
Windows 7 64bit

I have come across a couple programs that trigger the sandbox where a popup window indicates avast! is analyzing the program and a subsequent popup indicates it did not find enough evidence to identify the file as malware. The program is terminated and I’m given the choice of having the file open in the sandbox on next execution (recommended) or having the program open normally. I chose to have the program open normally but when I try to execute it again it still gets sandboxed and terminated.

I have gotten around this by manually adding the program to the sandbox advanced settings but shouldn’t have this happened automatically when I indicated that the program should run normally when it executed again?

Strange that it’s doing that as mine are all remembered.

It is a problem how avast populates the exclusion field in the autosandbox when the gadget is on. If you check your autosandbox exclusions, have you seen and entry, “en avast! user interface”? You could turn off the gadget and things work as expected. This is fixed in the 7.0.1414 R2 beta. And… I have no idea when the new program update will be released.
