Hi, my name Wilkens Paulo and I wonder what happens with my Avast Internet Security 5.0.677, which has a feature called sandbox, when it pressed the right mouse button on the icon nothing ever happens in IE8. No red border surrounds the new page open, and also nothing is shown in panel virtualization processes. Nothing happens, is this normal???

No, this is not normal. Did you try a repair of avast? Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Select avast > Click repair in the popup window. After that restart your computer.

  1. The sandbox settings is for permanent programs to run into the sandbox.
  2. The context menu setting (right click menu) is to run a program once in the sandbox (at least, if you choose that).
