I have a HASBRO which I purchased 1 year ago and installed from original disk. Have been using it with no problems, Avast scanned it with no problems. Now 1 year later Avast Sandbox just notified me it was putting it in Sandbox for my protection.
It’s fine, how do I get it out of Sandbox to become operational once again? ???
First I take it that you are using avast free and this is about the auto-sandbox function ?
It should still be outside the sandbox, if you tried to run it again as you normally do, you would no doubt get the same actions.
Open the Sandbox settings, avastUI, Additional Protection, AutoSandbox, Settings and set to Ask, that way you get to choose to run it in the sandbox or not. If it is a program that you have used before and are happy it is clear/presents no risk, select Run normally and check the Remember my answer for this program, etc.
This will add the program to the exclusions so it should Ask again.
