anybody’s ever see that happen, SAS re-downloading updates indefinitely ;D
gotta terminate it, it just wouldn’t stop…
Never seen that happen, but then again I only download the updates weekly now before running a scan. Updated two days ago and no issues.
working fine here

Anyone else finding problems with viewing attachments (thumbnail/small image not displayed and cant click), no avatars, etc. ?
Seems there is a problem with the new forum update, lots of pages can’t be found, etc.

just no avatar here so far for me and a couple of others (but not everyone) and also many icons displayed with default icons, just meaning there should be an icon there.
So you can see the image that Pondus posted ?
I can see yours now (couldn’t before) but still can’t see his sas_screenshot.gif.
So far not impressed with this new forum theme at all.
nope, for any attachment, there’s a link leading to a 404
not found page
I don’t know if we will have the possibility to set a different theme, as it used to be.
No icons, no smilies, no avatars, incorrect text encoding (and bad translation of older posts), “bad” positions of some links (page number and “previous | next” should be together as it used to be, for example), bad links, no dictionary for posts, bad copyrigth message… I need to be able to change my theme to something that fits my screen (and my eyes).
[EDIT]
Corrected typos and clarified some comments.

Yes this migration is a nightmare right now:
Avatars, appear to have gone walk about for the majority. Trying to upload it again results in an error "upload directory is not writable (sic)."Trying to attach images is also suffering problems, “Cannot access attachments upload path!”
Just noticed there is another screw-up on the Umlats, avast! Uber is now avast! Ãœber, but at least they have the stars back.
Definitely much work in progress.
SAS had an update for the configuration settings to better support the new infrastructure changes this morning. Those changes were to switch to a new content delivery network coinciding with the release of 5.0.1144. May be the update could not be made and it got into the loop because it can not find the new network ? Just an idea.
Just updated to 5.0.1144 and done a definitions update and no problem.
… anyway I don’t use SAS that much, so I just uninstalled it.
