Hello!
I am using Avast! Internet Security version 2014.9.0.2021
I wish to know how can I do an exception for a program other than a web browser to save files out of the sandbox. In particular I want to do that with programs that ONLY run in the sandbox, like Adobe CS3 that is not supported anymore by Acrobat. This feature is already incorporated for the web browsers (only) so I want to know how I can make this work even if it means to follow a manual procedure each time.
Maybe in the future versions of Avast! this can be incorporated in a friendly menu selecting which program will be affected by such an exception.
I appreciate in advance your help.
There is a option in the settings of the SandBox where you can select to share files outside the box.
As I said in the post: there is an option in the settings of the sandbox where you can select to “save trusted downloaded files outside the sandbox”, but this is ONLY for Web browsers. In fact I have that option selected, but it doesn’t work for a program that is not a web browser.
If there is another option in the settings please let me know.
thanks.
Hello again!
I am now using Avast! Internet Security version 2015.10.0.2208 (UPDATED)
I still want to know how I can do an exception for a “program other than a web browser” to save files out of the sandbox.
There is an option in the settings of the sandbox where you can select to “save trusted downloaded files outside the sandbox”, but this is ONLY for Web browsers.
So, what is that I need to do to have the same facility for a particular program when saving a file?
Thank you.
