Saving logins and passwords in Avast Safezone

Is it safe to allow Avast SafeZone to save login id’s and passwords, or is it just as much a security risk as saving them in Chrome or IE?

I turned on Avast Passwords. It told me that I need to install it in Chrome and Firefox. Do I need to install it in SafeZone? It still does not seem to be working there, and it is definitely the current version of SafeZone.
